well i had a fight with my front door this morning and the door one! let me tell you, that thing is a pain to open from the inside and outside! perhaps it just needs some getting used to, but man i wish that would happen already!
my house is the house of spiders. i'm hesitant to kill them because i saw one attack a fly the other morning and i figure if the spiders are there then hopefully other bugs won't be. but some of them look pretty nasty!
they say it will start cooling off after the bon festival (mid-month) and i am definately looking forward to that! currently, if i take a nap on my couch i start sweating and you all know what a great feeling that is!! can we say someone please turn on the airconditioner! :P

hey guess what..at laurel's today, met one of the people we usually have christmas with. her name is keiko (her husband is from pakistan). before they moved out here, they both lived in aomori. told her about you and about the festival you went to. she knew all about the area and the events around there. too bad you guys didn't meet while you were here. hee.
