cough, cough, sniffle, sniffle

i have the onset of a cold right now ~ runny nose and a slightly scratchy throat.

i've been wearing lots of skirts lately, skirts are fun!

the weather is really weird. last week it was like spring with almost all the snow melted and then the last couple of days its been getting really cold. still not a whole lot of snow, but cold enough to freeze my pipes last night before i had a chance to turn off the water before i went to bed. i have a hunch that winter won't last for much longer though (the spiders are already coming back, a sure sign!), a complete contrast to last year's winter.

i think i'm starting to understand what it means to be the master of my mind rather than letting my mind master me and it's quite empowering, let me tell you! being able to recognize and turn negativity around almost instantly is an amazing feeling (don't be mistaken by my cheery blogs :P i too get negative and down in the dumps frequently).

i haven't been up on the slopes once this year and i have a feeling i won't be going up until next year :(

uyen ~ that 80's email was hilarious! 99% of it was totally me! the most hilarious one being the bon jovi "shot through the heart" part, i totally sang it! haha
