it's nice having nothing to do

last week i was so incredibly busy! i had something on my schedule from sunday to sunday and i think my body is paying with it with this cold i have. luckily no fever and i'm starting to feel better after taking the medicine one of my friends bought for me even though i insisted i buy it. one thing ... where does all the snot come from? seriously, i've filled up like 2 trash cans worth of tissue! and the cough ... oye! and let me tell ya, teaching a bunch of really energetic kids when ur sick takes it out of u!

anyways, the point is that i'm finally starting to feel better and this is the first week in a long time where i have had nothing on my schedule the entire week (well aside from the last japanese class until april) and u know what? it feels so nice!!! it's great being able to come home and just stay here and bum around until bed time. then again, i dont think i would wanna go out this week considering the weather. *yup, gonna talk about the weather again :-P

it's started snowing again and the wind has come to. i got a little (just a smidge) taste of what winter will be like and what everyone refers to as the white out blizzards and snow that hurts ur face because it's being blown so hard! luckily i was inside, but i can hear it! ahhh! i just hope shoveling doesn't start anytime soon because i can't seem to get out of bed in the morning.

other news, made dinner tonight that reminded me of home: mashed potatoes, corn, and some crab croquet things (imagine chicken mcnuggets but filled with this crab cream stuff). minus the crab croquet and add in some chicken and it would have been just like at mom's! hee :)

alright, love and miss u all back home! oh yeah, reminder (if anyone has nothing to do - which is no one right now i imagine - and feels like recording some movies for me and actually sending them - i would love u forever!!) hee!
