well there is a slow moving typhoon moving through japan heading up to aomori, which means the winds have been really strong and man does my house creak when the wind blows!! luckily by the time it reaches here it wont be nearly as strong as down south, its been wreaking havoc down there!
had an excellent elementary school visit on monday. all the kidies were cute and kept coming to the teachers room to ask me to play. i might have even tought them some english in the classroom as well! imagine that!
there was an english speech contest yesterday. ive been helping 6 students (3 from each school) with their speeches for the last couple of weeks. one of my schools did really well, taking home the grand prize trophy!! woo hoo! the other school didnt do as well, one girl brought home a second prize in her category ... so i dont think it has anything to do with me :P but the speeches were cute, some of the kids were so stiff it was just kind of funny, and then other kids were actually really good. but man, some of those speeches were really random ... one talked about almost running into kangaroos :)
not much else now ... off to the exciting land of junior high school! wonder if ill get any more proposals!

Well maybe you can get a proposal from a teacher instead of a student! haha
