and she blogs again!
well i'm finally back into my regular schedule here in kanagi, and guess what? there is no snow!!!! i can't believe it! well actually there's a bit of a storm going on right now, but so far nothing more than a dusting. completely opposite of last year when i got back from winter vacation trips and my car was absolutely burried!!
anyways, the trip back to the states was great!! short but great (well except for all the travelling anxieties of having to make back to back flights). stayed in orange county for a couple of days and got to see lots of sua people and erin! it was so strange being at sua again. being so familiar with the place and yet realizing that i'm no longer a student there. but the best part was seeing everyon: lisa, uyen, andy, mitzi, phat, connie, diana, jackie, grace, emily and lots of staff. i wish i could have stayed longer, but just happy i got to see people. 
after orange county, i headed to las vegas to meet up with the cousins and then headed to bishop. saw dad on the way up and then mom was the first person i saw in bishop and i didnt think she was going to let go of me the entire time! haha. well then all of us were reunited when dad brought jack and angel late that night and the week with the family started. it was loads of fun. all we did was play games and eat! the week went by way to quick though and i realized i should come home more often than once every year and a half. but hopefully people will come visit me instead!! come on guys, you know you want to!!

anyways, after the very short visit home, came back to aomori. then turned around the next day and went back to tokyo to hang out with nori for a few days. we had a great time, despite being extremely tired!!!! went to tokyo disney sea and disneyland and then did some shopping in shibuya and akihabara. disney sea and disneyland combined is kind of like disneyland in california. it was really crowded, but luckily the weather was really good (i.e. no rain). came back and were both really happy to see no snow in aomori (yet!) which mean i didn't need to catch up on any shoveling. here's some pictures from tokyo ...
